My Story
Hello,My name Is Zenobia Yates. I started Scentsy September of 2010. I was first introduced to Scentsy when a friend invited me to a party she was having. I went only because that's what we do. You get invited, so you go. We have always done this regardless if it was a candle party, a home decor party, cooking party, or any other kind of party. I hadn't heard of Scentsy so I was a little shocked when I walked in the room and it smelled better than any candle I had ever had!!I was a major candle addict and to this day have several brand new, unused candles, just waiting to make a great gift for someone...but everyone likes Scentsy better so I just keep them. Anyway, I looked over all the merchandise and decided to buy something because she seemed really excited to get free stuff. I also booked a party so she could get something 1/2 price.After I got my pot and 3 scents I plugged it in the wall and 20 minutes later I was hooked. I have used everything under the moon and nothing had my house smelling as amazing as my Scentsy Pot and the "Welcome Home" Scentsy bar I had put in the pot. I was so excited to have my party and could not wait to get tons of stuff free.After my party (which was a complete success. over $5oo.oo in orders and tons of free and 1/2 priced items) I decided I wanted in. If only to support my new habbit, I had to be a Consultant. I signed up September 22, 2010 and I love it as much today as I did the first day I walked into her house and smelled how wonderful it was.I am a full time kindergarten teacher and a mom to 3 wonderful children. I have been married alomost 20 years to my best friend. I sell Scentsy because i want everyone I know, and all their friends to walk into their homes after a long hard day at work and experience the same thing I do when I get home every evening. That is a sense of "I am so glad to be here", and "I love my house" and last but not least the smell of whatever memory you want to bring back. For example, I lost my dad this past January and sometimes I will put "that special" scent in my Scentsy pot and all the memories of my childhood with my dad come in full view. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to put in different scents and experience those memories over and over.Thank you for reading my story.
